A few years ago, Steve Ellis and I were invited to pitch some story ideas to Marvel Comics. One of those pitches was for a short steampunk story called IRON MAN: FULL STEAM AHEAD. In a nutshell, the story recast Thomas Edison as Doctor Doom and Anthony Stark as Nikola Tesla. These are the designs we developed for Doom.
